Maintenance Request
Important Notes
Please read the following information carefully before submitting a work request:
- The AiM Work Order System is utilized for all maintenance requests and work orders.
- Your login information will be the same as your '@appstate.edu' email account.
- The 'Problem Code' field is required when entering a customer request.
- Please be as descriptive as possible when describing an issue. This will help our maintenance staff ensure that the problem is resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Always include your contact information when submitting a work request. Occasionally our staff may need to get in touch with you regarding a work request, usually when we need more information from you about an issue that you have encountered.
Please note that requests are generally resolved within 24 to 48 hours. Housing Operations staff may enter your room between 9 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday to resolve your request. If you believe that your request could constitute an emergency maintenance request, please contact hall staff on call. If there is an Emotional Support or Service Animal in your room, please ensure the animal is secured per University Housing policy. If a Housing Operations staff member enters your room while you are not present, a hang tag will be left on your door, summarizing their visit.
