The Open Application Waitlist is an application process for continuing students who are not currently on campus with us or who missed the ReApplication process, and who need of housing for the upcoming Academic Year. The Open Application for the upcoming academic year housing is available to continuing to students who did not complete the ReApplication process beginning December 2nd annually. The Open Application for the upcoming academic year housing closes at the end of the Fall semester drop/add period for the Fall semester.
Due to our occupancy numbers after the ReApplication process, we are typically unable to offer on-campus housing for the upcoming academic year to students on our waitlist in the Spring and early Summer. The Open Application is an active waitlist that we review on a rolling basis. Each year, we revisit our occupancy in December, April, and periodically throughout the summer, and make on-campus housing offers for the next academic year to students on our waitlist as space becomes available. Students who have completed the Open Application will receive additional communication if space becomes available through the end of the drop/add period for the Fall semester; at that point, we will stop reviewing the Open Application Waitlist for that academic year.
