Residence Life
Our on-campus residential community is divided into three 'Areas' of supervision. Area 1 includes Summit, Thunder Hill, Cone, Cannon, Belk, Frank, and Elkstone Residence Halls. Area 2 includes Raven Rocks, Newland, Laurel Creek, LLC, Dogwood, and Doughton Residence Halls. Area 3 includes New River, White, Mountain Laurel, and Appalachian Heights Residence Halls. All Residence Life hall supervisors are overseen by an Area Coordinator, who may also solely supervise a specific residence hall. Each area is led by an Assistant Director. Our Residence Life team also includes a number of functional area staff who oversee Student Leadership, RA Recruitment, occupancy, and Resident Care and Success.
