Summer Housing

Students are encouraged to submit summer housing application materials early to ensure an assignment. Only full-time, degree-seeking students are eligible to reside on-campus. Please be certain to read all information provided in the Summer 2009 Residence Hall License Contract carefully.
Students who enroll in Summer Session I and enter into a housing license contract are also obligated to the housing contract for Summer Session II if they are enrolled for that session.
All room assignments must be occupied by the "No-Show" deadline of 6:00pm on the first day of classes. If you will be arriving later than 6:00pm, please notify the Department of Housing & Residence Life at (828)262-2160 to notify staff of your late arrival. If an assignment is not occupied by the "No-Show" deadline and no arrangements for a late arrival have been made then the space is subject to reassignment.
The University reserves the right to:
- Cancel or change the assignment in the interest of order, health, sanitation, or other urgent reasons
- Collect charges for damages or the unauthorized use or alteration of a room, equipment, or building and for special cleaning necessitated by improper use of a room and/or equipment.
