Summit hall is located on the East side of campus and dons the title of "tallest building on campus" by 4 ft. Each suite-style room contains two bedrooms with a shared bathroom that includes two sinks and a private toilet room. Convenience is the cornerstone of Summit Hall. Located next to Plemmons Student Union, residents of Summit Hall will have easy access to most academic buildings, Central Dining Hall, Belk Library, and the University Post Office. It is also a short walk to King Street to enjoy local shopping and dining.
Beginning in 2008, University Housing made a commitment to sustainability by pursuing LEED certification for all renovations and new construction. Summit Hall is the fourth LEED project in the department.

Summit Hall is co-ed and will house upperclass students. The building will open with the beginning of the 2012-2013 academic year (above pictures are artist's renderings and current construction). Summit Hall is the fourth LEED project in the department and hopes to obtain a LEED Certified Gold designation.
