Newland Residence Hall





Newland residence hall is located between Wey Hall and Trivette Hall on the west side of campus. Newland hall is designed to accommodate four students in a suite–style setting. Each suite contains two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The building is named for the Honorable Will C. Newland of Lenoir, who introduced the bill in the legislature to create Appalachian Training School for Teachers.

Newland residence hall is co-ed and traditionally houses sophomore-senior students.
