Coltrane & Gardner Residence Halls





Connected by a large lobby, Coltrane (left) & Gardner (right) residence halls are located on the west side of campus. Coltrane residence hall is named for Mr. and Mrs. David Coltrane who served North Carolina for 31 years. Gardner residence hall is named for the late Governor 0. Max Gardner and Mrs. Gardner (the former Fay Lamar Webb), two of North Carolina's most famous citizens and widely admired public servants. Governor Gardner served during the depression years of 1929-33.

Both Coltrane and Gardner residence halls are co-ed and house freshman-senior students.
